The mural celebrating our employees and love for art
At Dr. Schär, every employee is the unique, irreplaceable voice of a large community. This richness translates into active listening and appreciation of each individual’s ideas, the beating heart that drives each of our initiatives.
An extraordinary example is ‘in.pegno’, the project created by the public artist and street poet ivan and curated by Arte Sella museum, which has brought the façade of the Borgo Valsugana plant (Italy) to life, transforming it into a participatory work of art, testimony to the commitment and collective spirit that characterise our company.
For us, culture and art have always been a source of inspiration and a driving force. This was the starting point for the invitation extended to the employees at our plant in Borgo Valsugana to describe their work at Dr. Schär and the bond with their colleagues in a single word. A real call to art, which formed the core of the mural painted by ivan.
FAR BENE, CUORE, PASSIONE (do good, heart, passion) is the triptych that sums up the contributions of the 200 employees who took part, painted on the main façade with all the definitions collected. Next spring, the artistic work will also come to life on a wall of the bread factory, on which an unpublished poem will be ‘tattooed’, composed by ivan using all the words suggested by the company employees from Borgo Valsugana. These words will merge into a poem celebrating the unity and commitment of those who make this company great every day.

The partnership with Arte Sella was born out of a shared love of art and the region. Over time, this bond has grown, leading us to choose Arte Sella as the curator of a special work for our company. The choice of the artist ivan, known for his outstanding participatory works, turned out to be perfect. ‘in.pegno‘, one of the most important monumental and participatory works he has recently produced, allowed him to ‘throw a small seed to the wind’ and receive ‘the sky that blooms in spring’.
The art project is made using mineral and sustainable paints from Calchèra San Giorgio, a local company, further demonstrating our commitment to enhancing the region and its excellence, with a focus on environmental sustainability.
